A practicing doctor having his clinic at Pithampur and having his IT
company in Indore and Pithampur has been duped of thirty five lakhs by
a high profile interstate gang. The gang is having the patronage of
big political figures, senior bureaucrats and even big history sheeter
criminals of Delhi, UP and Hyderabad.
Actually Dr Rajesh Lekhi, a resident of Silver Springs colony in
Indore runs his hospitals and clinics in the industrial area of
Pithampur near Indore since last two decades. His IT company
“Lekhisoft” has already achived grate milestones in the field as it
has developed a world class hospital management software which is
presently being used by thousands of hospitals across India and also
in many other countries. Recently, a leading company of the world ELI
of UK has taken over his company and made it a global brand.
Dr Lekhi had a plan for expansion of his IT business and also his
hospitals, for which he needed the funds worth thirty crores. While he
was searching for the prospects for loan, one of his close friends Ram
Singh working as a manager in L&T company in Pithampur approached him
and told about a syndicate that manages the funds of big politicians.
First meeting was fixed at some minister’s office at Maharashtra
Bhawan in Delhi where Dupla Saroja Narayana, Shaji Ahmed Siddiqui,
Mohd Shahid Ansari and Abhishek Shrivastava on November 6 last year.
All four of them told about the source of funds as the black money of
the big politicians and assured him for a loan of twenty five crores
at an interest rate of 4℅ per annum. They then asked Lekhi for
submission of processing fee of 3.5 lakhs. Shrivastava came to Indore
to evaluate the assets and get KYC of Lekhi done.
Thereafter the accused no 5 Sanjay Tiwari also appeared in the scene.
The accused asked Lekhi to deposit 25 lakhs in the account of Sanjay
Tiwari. On this, Lekhi deposited in Tiwari’s ICICI Bank branch of
Lucknow. By then they had taken thirty lakhs from Lekhi.
As Dupla Saroja Narayana was the main link between Lekhi and all other
accused, Lekhi asked her to clear the loan or return the amount back
to him. She and all others kept lingering the issue and passing the
ball from one person of the gang to another, on which Lekhi was able
to realise that they were duping him. Thus he was forced to complain
to the police.
The complaint has been registered by Tejajinagar police station in
Indore (MP) and both ADG Mr Ajay Sharma and Indore DIG Harinarayan
Mishra have assured for the case to be referred to the crime branch so
that the whole gang could be nabbed.
