The last reel of 2025 is rolling, but the entertainment industry is far from saying goodbye to the year. With the release of Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’, Bollywood gave the audience another rom-com before the end of 2025. The film had a decent start, on its release on the festive occasion of Christmas, but saw a dip in the numbers over the debut weekend. The competition from Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhunrandhar’ can be cited as one of the reasons, as the spy thriller continues to keep the cash registers ringing at the box office despite its 23 days of release.

Released on December 25, Kartik Aaryan’s ‘TMMTMTTM’ made Rs. 7.75 crore on its opening day, according to Sacnilk. Thereafter, on Friday, with a drop of over 30 per cent, the film collected Rs. 5.25 crore. Without any further dip in the earnings, it continued to make Rs. 5.25 crore as per the early estimates of the trade site. With this, after a run of 3 days, the movie’s total stands at Rs 18.25 crore.
‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ day 3 occupancy rate
On Saturday, ‘TMMTMTTM’ recorded an overall 23.25 per cent occupancy in Hindi. The mornings show a decent start with 8.72 per cent footfall, which rose to 23.74 per cent in the afternoon. As the day progressed, the numbers got better with the evening shows and night shows recording 25.82 per cent and 34.73 per cent occupancy respectively.
Competition from Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ and James Camerons Avatar: Fire And Ash
‘Dhurandhar’ broke box office records right from its debut. The Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurandhar’ is not only the highest earning movies of his career, but one of the top blockbusters of 2025. On Saturday, the film made Rs. 20.50 crore, taking its total to Rs. 668 crore in the domestic market.
Meanwhile, the Hollywood entertainer, Avatar: Fire And Ash directed by James Cameron made Rs 9.50 crore on Satuday according to the early estimates. Across languages in India, the film collected Rs 126.65 crore in 9 days.
