Mumbai, September 13, 2025 — The two-day Media Conference held at KES Shroff College, Kandivli, on September 12th and 13th, witnessed thought-provoking discussions on the evolving challenges of the media and entertainment industry. Among the highlights was the participation of Ramira Taneja, Founder & CEO of RamiiPhy Entertainment, as an esteemed panelist.

The session, moderated by renowned educationist Prof. Ujjwal K. Chowdhury, featured eminent voices including Romil Dhodhiwala, AGM – Marketing, Allied Digital, and Gunjan Pai, Founder, Copy Love. Additional distinguished participants included Prof. Ambrish Saxena (South Asian University), Chinmay Bhave (BITS Design), and Praveen Nagda, Film Festival Director.

Speaking on the theme “Hybrid Workflow in Media Industries: Efficiency and Exploitation”, Taneja candidly addressed the mounting financial pressures faced by content creators and producers in the current landscape.

“The entire financial burden is on creators and producers as platforms are now asking them to finance the project, release it in theatres, and only then decide the price they will offer. Even then, they attempt to buy out the entire IP, leaving nothing with the producers. With no guaranteed ROI from OTT rights, and with AI entering the scene, the very concept of intellectual property is becoming blurred,” she remarked.

When asked about solutions for emerging filmmakers, Taneja emphasized community building, equity partnerships among multiple producers, and even crowdfunding models as viable pathways for sustainable growth.

A rising thought leader in the Indian M&E sector, Ramira Taneja is increasingly recognized as a first choice speaker at reputed media and film industry forums, academic institutions, and festivals. Reflecting on the conference, she said:

“Sharing the stage and having discussions on burning concerns within the media business, while guiding upcoming talent on their path, was an enriching experience. I extend my congratulations to Principal Lily Bhushan and Vidhi Rajora for hosting such an insightful conference.”

With her insightful perspectives and sharp understanding of industry dynamics, Ramira Taneja continues to make her mark as a leading voice shaping the discourse on the future of media and entertainment in india
