Google recently launched its latest Pixel 10 series smartphone — Pixel 10a in India. The smartphone is the latest addition to Pixel 10 series and is said to be Googles toughest A-series phone yet. The smartphone features Gorilla Glass 7i and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. The smartphone also features 100% recycled aluminum frame and includes recycled cobalt, copper, and gold – a first for the A-series.
Google Pixel 10a is powered by Google Tensor G4 chip, which also powers the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro smartphones. The affordable Pixel smartphone features a 6.3-inch Actua display with a 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The smartphone also features a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera.
Google Pixel 10a is backed by a 5,100 mAh battery, the biggest ever in an A-series phone. Google claims it can last over 30 hours on a single charge. It also supports 30W wired and 10W wireless charging.
Google Pixel 10a comes with a starting price tag of Rs 49,999 and the smartphone will give competition to the Apple iPhone 16 which is retailing at a starting price tag of Rs 52,999. Launched in 2024, the Apple iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display and is powered by Apple’s A18 chipset.
