iPhone 17 Pro bhagwa rocking in India as orange is new black market, dealers say pay extra

There were signs that the iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmic Orange — some Indian users are calling it bhagwa colour — would prove to be popular in India. After launch this has been confirmed, and so high is the demand for it that dealers are now selling it by charging extra for it.

Looks can be subjective but it is clear that as far as Indian consumers go, the most sought-after colour of the iPhone 17 this year is the Cosmic Orange. Or “bhagwa” colour, as some users are calling it. Essentially there are two iPhones that are available in Cosmic Orange colour — the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Both are out of stock. Out of stock but not unavailable because apparently, they are being hoarded by phone dealers, who are asking consumers to pay extra if they want the “bhagwa iPhone” immediately.
