India Today quoted him saying, Now, there is no point in further discussion following the High Courts order. The honorable judges did not find any shortcomings in the functioning of the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification).

The producer stated that The Kerala Story 2 was revived by an eight-member committee instead of a five-member committee on the board. Further sharing more information, he said the members included two social workers from Kerala as well, to ensure that there was no misrepresentation related to the state.
