Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij end their 14year marriage; announce separation, say ‘there is no villain in this story or negativity

Television actors Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij, who have been in the news for the past few months due to speculation around their personal lives, have finally addressed the divorce rumours. On January 4, Jay Bhanushali took to his Instagram Story to confirm that the couple has decided to separate. The couple, who got married in 2011, have mutually decided to part ways after 14 years of togetherness.

Sharing a long note, Jay and Mahhi both mentioned that they are fully committed to their kids, Today we choose to part ways on a journey called life. Yet we continue to have each others back. Peace, growth, kindness, and humanity have always been our guiding values for the sake of our children - Tara, Khushi, Rajveer, we commit to being the best parents, the best friend, and whatever else it takes to do what is right for them.

They added, Though we walk separate paths, there is no villain in this story and no negativity attached to this decision before any conclusions are drawn, please know that we chose peace over drama and sanity above all else.

Jay and Mahhi further shared in the note that they will continue to support each other and be friends even after the separation, We continue to respect one another, support one another, and remain friends, as we always have been. Jay and Mahhi got married in 2011 and have three children together: their biological daughter Tara, born in 2019, and foster children Rajveer and Khushi, whom they took in 2017. The couple often shared pictures and videos of their children together on social media.

On the professional front, while Jay is currently busy with hosting reality shows, live events, Mahhi recently made her Television comeback with TV show, Sehar Hone Ko Hai.
