As Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’ awaits the official verdict regarding its CBFC petition, fans as well as fellow actors have been rallying online in support of the star. The likes of some of the biggest names in South cinema have come out with their support for the actor. From Ravi Mohan, Simbu, and Jai, to Jiiva and Harish Kalyan, many have posted about the ‘Jana Nayagam’ certification verdict.
Celebrities rally in support of Vijay amid Madras verdict
Actor Jiiva, who is best known for his roles in ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ and ‘Black’, recently took to his social media account to stand in support of Vijay. He posted, “When the wait gets longer, the impact gets bigger. Always beside you, today and every day #Thalapathy @actorvijay na. You are truly our Janangalin Nayagan. We are coming - Delayed but not defeated! #JanaNayagan.”
‘Annapoorani’ actor Jai also posted about his support for the artist, adding that, “There are obstacles that are always piling up to stop you. Breaking them and coming through is not something new for you — it is just your normal way (of functioning). Like everyone else, as a fan, as a younger brother, I’m waiting as Jana Nayagans release day is Pongal anna… @actorvijay #JanaNayagan #PongalPostponed.”
“Dear @actorvijay anna, Setbacks have never stopped you. You’ve crossed bigger storms than this. This too shall pass. Real Thiruvizha begins on the day #Jananayagan releases,” wrote actor, director, and playback singer Silambarasan TR.
Harish Kalyan, who is best known for his work in ‘Pyaar Prema Kaadhal’, also penned down a short note for Vijay saying “As a Vijay sir fan and a cinema lover Jananayagan’s delay hurts badly. But the celebrations are only postponed. Kaathiruppom. #JanaNayagan @actorvijay.”
‘Parasakthi’ actor Ravi Mohan also lends his support
‘Parasakthi’, which is supposed to be released on January 10, is also facing similar delays from the CBFC regarding their official certification. Taking to social media, the lead actor of the film, Ravi Mohan, also expressed his support for Vijay and the ordeal that he has been facing recently.
The final verdict about the film’s certification and the petition filed against the CBFC will come today at 10:30 AM. This will be Vijay’s last film as an actor, as he announced recently that he will be quitting the film industry to enter politics.
