‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’ box office collection day 15: Chiranjeevi’s film inches closer to Rs 200 crore mark in India

Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, directed by Anil Ravipudi, has been riding high at the box office. The film, released during the Sankranti festive window, earned over Rs 5 crore on Republic Day.

As per trade analyst Sacnilk, the film, on January 26th made over Rs 5.09 crore in India. The film has had a solid start at the box office, and enjoyed an extended 11-day first week run, collecting an estimated Rs 179.15 crore. On Day 12, the movie added Rs 2.65 crore to its net collections and saw a boost in numbers over the weekend, earning an estimated Rs 4.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.2 crore on Sunday. Lastly, the film saw a big boost in numbers on Monday, the Republic Day holiday, earning an estimated Rs 5.09 crore, which brought its total collection to Rs 197.34 crore. With this the film is all set to make its way into the Rs 200 crore club at the domestic box office.

Theatrical occupancy

The films overall Telugu occupancy was 47.04% on Monday with early morning shows seeing an estimated 27.15% footfall. The film saw a gradual rise in occupancy with its evening shows recording the highest at 65.57%.

The film has seen huge profits in the international market as well, as a Bollywood Life report suggests it collected over US $4.45 million so far.

The film marks Chiranjeevi’s biggest hit, which is going strong and positive.
